The Library offers so many resources and services to our faculty, we need several pages just to show you! Here is a preview of the kinds of information and services you will find described on these pages!
Documents scanned on a copier for posting online often do not meet accessibility standards. The Library provides access to a high quality scanner for faculty and staff use. Instead of taking a picture of a text document, it scans the document and saves the scanned file as machine readable text.
The flatbed "book edge" scanner also makes scanning pages of a book much simpler and with a clearer image.
If you have material to be scanned and posted online (e.g. Talon), stop by the Library and ask about using our scanner. You may also make an appointment with our Digital Services Librarian for a brief demonstration.
Kirkwood Library provides a course reserves service to faculty. Materials are located at the circulation desk. It provides a way for faculty to share items students may need for their course work. Please review the policy, and fill out the form below to place items on reserve for your students, typically for in-library use and a 4-hour time limit.

The Library has a "One Button" recording studio on the 2nd floor, Room 251. The room has the necessary technology already installed to make recording a video fairly simple. Faculty, staff, and students may reserve this room to record videos for coursework. Read all about the room, the equipment installed, and what users need to bring along in order to record a video in our FAQ entry.
Faculty, remember that librarian research help is not just for students. Contact the reference desk with your research needs:
