Academic Search Elite is Kirkwood Libraries' most-used article database, and it covers a wide variety of different subjects. It searches:
Magazine articles
Journal (peer-reviewed) articles
Newspaper articles
Find it anywhere you see the "A-Z Databases" link
Search tips:
Play around with the search terms you use. If your first try doesn't get relevant results, don't keep browsing through them, try something different. Finding the right terms makes a huge difference in how much time you spend trying to find the right article.
Use the subject terms found on the left hand side of the Academic Search Elite results screen to improve your search.
Use the "Cite" button to the right of the citations to make citing the articles much easier.
