If you need to make changes to an interlibrary loan request that you have already submitted, or have questions about a requst you placed, please contact the interlibrary loan staff as soon as you are able by emailing email@example.com or call us at 319-398-5553.
If it turns out that you need to keep interlibrary loan material longer than the listed due date, you can request a renewal. To do so, click the "Library Account Login" on the library homepage. Log on with your K-number and EagleNet password. After logging in, your library account will be displayed including all library material that is checked out. Locate the interlibrary loan material to be renewed and click the "Renew" button under the status column. A request for renewal will be sent to the lending library.

Important Notes about interlibrary loan renewals:
1. Lending libraries are under no obligation to renew checked out materials and whether they will renew an item is completely at their discretion. If a lender declines your request for a renewal, please return the book on or before the original due date. You can request the item again and we will send the requests to other libraries.
2. Be sure to request a renewal before the original due date. Please do not request renewals for items that are already overdue. By following this important rule, you will help ensure that Kirkwood Libraries remains in good standing with other lenders.
