This self-paced tutorial contains six modules that serve as an introduction to open educational resources (OER). Throughout the modules there are opportunities for you to check your knowledge and further explore concepts. While you can follow the modules in any order, we recommend that you start with Module 1 and progress through in order. At the end you will be equipped to begin adopting OER for any course you teach.
By the end of this course, you should be able to:
1. Define Open Educational Resources
2. Explain the rationale for OER adoption and use
3. Explain the differences between Creative Commons licenses
4. Identify repositories and other resources for finding relevant OER
5. Use tools and criteria to evaluate OER
