Midterm Marathon Welcome!

Join the Sundberg Library & Learning Commons for Midterm Marathon!

We have a week full of activities planned to help you be successful in your midterms, and throughout your college career. Come by each day to meet some of the many people working at Kirkwood just to support you in your classes. We will have counselors, librarians, learning assistants, and, of course, therapy dogs! We will finish out the week with a game day, because it's important to relax and have fun too!

Fall 2024 schedule

We will have events at two locations: the Library in Benton Hall, and the Learning Commons in Cedar Hall.

Each day at the Library we will have (while supplies last):

Coffee, tea, and hot cocoa
Snacks to-go for quick fuel
Jigsaw puzzles to work on between study sessions

Coloring pages to help you relax
Daily entries for prize drawing

Monday: Library Resources Day	Learn about Library services and resources Complete Library Bingo to pick from our prize basket 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Discover the Do's, Don'ts, and Donuts of Citations and Research -- and grab a donut (while supplies last!)	10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Discover the Do's, Don'ts, and Donuts of Citations and Research -- and grab a donut!
Tuesday: Student Support Showcase	Meet with learning assistants from the Learning Commons. See how they can help you succeed!	Meet with learning assistants from the Learning Commons. See how they can help you succeed!
Wednesday: Writing Center Help	Get expert writing help from our Writing Center faculty! Walk-in help at the Library 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. 1:25 to 4 p.m. 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Thursday: Mental Health Day	Visit with Kirkwood's fantastic counselors right in the Library Therapy dogs visiting from 11:15-12:10!	Therapy dogs visiting from 11:15-12:10!
Friday: Game Day!	Come de-stress with some game time! We will have many outdoor and indoor games. Bring a friend or just bring yourself! Free popcorn, while supplies last!	Learning Commons staff will all be in the Library today!
