Welcome to the Cedar Rapids Campus Library Video

The Kirkwood Library is now called The Sundberg Library and Learning Commons. The Library entrance is located on the first floor of Benton Hall, facing the courtyard between Iowa, Linn, and Benton Halls. We are committed to providing our students, faculty, and staff with the information resources you need to do your work.

Welcome to the Online Library

The Online Library is available 24/7 through the library's homepage. We aim to provide all library resources and services to all Kirkwood students, at all locations. See the Distance Learning Library guide for even more information on services for students located primarily at county centers or online.

The library has printers, color printers, and photocopiers available for student use.

  • The student print quota of $36 per semester applies to student computers and copiers on campus. Five cents per black and white copy and ten cents per color is deducted from your print quota.
  • Color printing is available. However we do not have color photocopiers.
  • Scanning is provided through the library's copiers with a flash drive. Ask at the desk for assistance.

Computers & Laptops

You can use the library's desktop computers on the first floor. All computers have the Microsoft Office Suite, as well as most software programs required for student assignments. However, if you do not see what you need, check at the desk.

Laptops are available for checkout for 2 days at a time. See the Library borrowing guide for more details.

Wi Fi is available throughout the library and all of the Kirkwood main campus and centers.
