Notes about operating hours

• Kirkwood Test Center opens and closes promptly at the posted times each day.
• Appointments are booked at quarter-hour intervals (i.e., 8:15 a.m., 8:30 a.m., 8:45 a.m., etc.)
• The earliest appointment starts 15 minutes after our posted opening time. For example, if our opening time is 8 a.m., the earliest appointment is 8:15 a.m. However, test takers are permitted to check in as soon as the Test Center doors open, and may begin testing as soon as the exam is ready to deliver.
• The latest appointment ends 15 minutes before our posted closing time. For example, if our closing time is 5 p.m., the latest appointment for a 1-hour exam is 3:45 p.m. (i.e., the exam ends at 4:45 p.m.) However, test takers are permitted to continue testing up until closing time, provided they still have allotted testing time remaining.
• All testing ends promptly at closing time. Kirkwood Test Center is closed on all College holidays.

April 29 - May 12, 2024 (Final exams)

May 13 - August 4, 2024 (summer hours)

August 5 - August 11, 2024

August 12 - August 25, 2024 (no classes in session)

Kirkwood Test Center occasionally closes or adopts modified hours for special test administrations. Exceptions to our scheduled hours will be posted here as soon as they are confirmed.
